Although many of our members are involved in other societies and study clubs, the Durham Orange County Dental Society attempts to create a sense of belonging and fellowship for the dentists of the two counties and surrounding counties that have no formal dental society.
Our membership consists of general and specialist dentists who have a professional presence in the Durham and Orange counties and the surrounding areas of North Carolina.
Our meetings are held once a month during the months of September through the following April at the University Club in Durham. Once per year we will celebrate with a social event to encourage relationships between our members while enjoying good food and fellowship with one another.
Our meetings typically include dinner and guest speakers. Every attempt is made to make sure that all lecturers/presenters meet the criteria for quality education. At least four continuing education credits can be earned per year from attendance.
